David K. Elliott
Founder & Creative Director, Think G Media

New York City–born and raised, David K. Elliott began earning money from his own creative work at eight years old. His early development included firsthand experience inside the shop of the Shirt Kings, the pioneering Queens collective also known as the Mighty Shirt Kings, where he began by sweeping the shop and learned art, garment customization, creative discipline, and the fundamentals of turning creativity into business.
By his teenage years, Elliott was already working professionally across music and entertainment, gaining experience in songwriting, A&R, creative direction, live performance, event promotion, recording, and production. His background as a recording artist, songwriter, and producer remains an active part of his work today, alongside decades of hands-on experience with recording, studio production, sound systems, voice performance, and audio development.
His creative education was shaped by New York City’s entertainment culture, industry pioneers, deep exposure to reggae and dancehall, and extensive firsthand experience working in both New York City and the Caribbean. At the same time, early exposure to executive operations, workforce development, entrepreneurship, and community-based organizations helped develop the business instincts and leadership perspective that would later shape Think G Media.
Elliott earned a degree in Visual Communications in Pennsylvania, where he has been based for nearly two decades. His work today brings together visual development, music and audio, production, animation, and emerging creative technologies.
As Founder & Creative Director of Think G Media, Elliott leads the company’s creative development with a hands-on approach, directing a growing portfolio of original intellectual properties including Reggae Bugs while working across disciplines and coordinating specialized collaborators when a project requires them. His multidisciplinary approach allows him to see an idea not only for what it is, but for how it can develop across media, technology, music, products, and audience experiences.
